OHRID - DURING THE DAYS OF GODAPPERAINCE - "VODICI" - TRADITION, RELIGION, ATTRACTION
 Ohrid - as well as the old town Lychnidos, has always been the centre of the spiritual and cristian culture, and as a proof is the tradition that has been going on with centuries marking the traditional festivities as a Cristian holiday Vodici - Godappearance (from January 18th till 20th each year).
The Travel Agency “VIS POJ” offers you very rare opportunity to experience this spectaculare procession where as a final act is the throwing of the Holy Cross into the Ohrid Lake waters.
DAY FIRST
Arriving in Ohrid, accommodation in one of the many comfortable hotels in Ohrid.
Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY SECOND
Early morning visit to one of the Ohrid churches. Participation in the liturgy - the traditional form of service dedicated to the Great Holiday. The group ceremony procession continues by walk to the town square, including itself into the central manifestation where to the gathered crowd is offered and served hot rakija (a type of brandy).
Witnessing the religious ceremony, where, as a symbol, to present the holy spirit, the Holy Cross is thrown into the lake waters.
A promenade in the old Ohrid market place (Bazaar) where the natives offer you hot rakija.
Afternoon sightseeing of Ohrid.
Traditional dinner in a national restaurant.
Overnight accommodation in the hotel.
DAY THIRD
A visit to the lake port where you can see the traditional winter bathing of the fishermen.
A walk in the famous Ohrid old part and visiting the workshops of the old crafts.
Lunch.
After the lunch the programme ends.

OHRID SUMMER FESTIVAL
Classical concerts and plays are performed by national and international artists. The performances are staged in natural and historical locations of Ohrid.
BALKAN FOLKLORE FESTIVAL
Traditional folk songs and dances are performed by groups from the Balkan countries.
STRUGA POETRY EVENINGS - "BRIDGES"
Poets from around the world recite poetry from the bridge over the River Black Drim.
OHRID SWIMMING MARATHON
The course is 30 km from St. Naum to Ohrid.
