FIRST DAY
Morning departure to Struga. Panoramic viewing of the bridges that cross the river Crni Drim where the famous poetry festival “Struga poetry evenings” is held.
A visit to the monastery of the Holy Mother in Kalista dated from 15th century.
The journey continues along the side of the rivers Crni Drim and Radika. Arrival at the monastery of St. Jovan Bigorski, well known in the Balcans for many things including it’s astonishing carved wooden iconostasis, or altar screen, the work of wood - carvers from Debar.
The journey goes on towards the popular mountain tourist centre Mavrovo. Accomodation in the Bistra Hotel, lunch including afternoon rest.
Dinner and overnight stay in the same hotel.
SECOND DAY
After breakfast the journey continues to the famous winter resort Krusevo. The highest town of the Balkan Peninsula (1350 met. above sea level), visit to the well known monument MAKEDONIUM and the house of the academic painter Martinoski. Visit to Meckin Kamen (The bear`s stone). Lunch break at the Montana hotel.
After the lunch break departing to Bitola, visit to the famous archeological site Heraclea Lyncaestis.
Visiting the archeological site Stobi.
Arriving in Skopje, accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
THIRD DAY
Breakfast
Visiting the cultural and historical sites of Skopje.
The Museum of Macedonia, the monastery St. Panteleimon from 1516 year, the church St. Spas dating from 1348 year, the Stone Bridge, Daut Pasha Bath 1489/1497 year, Kurshumli Han (a monument from 1550 year)
A stroll through the Old Bazaar in Skopje.
Lunch break, free activities.
Dining together, staying overnight in the hotel.
